Audiometric studies in type 2 diabetes mellitus

Materials method: An observational was conducted including 100 participants such that 50 were non-diabetic (group A) another diabetic. two groups matched for age gender. Random Blood Sugar, HbA1c, Pure Tone Audiometry assessed. statistical analysis data done using SPSS (Statistical Package Social Sciences) 21.0 version, IBM, Chicago. Results: median belonging group A B 39.0 years 40.0 respectively. No significant observed presence or absence (Chi-square value- 2.1, df-3, p value>.05). Amongst patients with diabetes, HbA1c level found no severity 9.243, df-4, Conclusion: It concluded there is difference amongst persons without diabetes.
